The thermo-compressor recovers the low pressure steam that is left over post various processes and pressurizes it with mixing high pressure motive steam in order for it to be reused. Upon mixing high and low pressure steams, the valve reducing pressure responds to the fluctuations adjusting it to properly regulate the steam flow.
